Description:

Amigos for Christ works to provide better opportunities for displaced and very poor families in Nicaragua.  The work of Amigos includes building homes, schools, hospitals, health clinics, feeding centers, clean water systems, and latrines to improve physical living conditions. All work is done alongside and with the participation of community members. In addition, Amigos provides small loans to families and farmers so that they in turn can provide for their families.
